How to crop an image in PowerPoint 2007
Cropping an image in PowerPoint 2007 is quick and easy, once the image is inserted into the presentation, follow these steps.
Step 1. Click the image you would like to crop
Step 2. A new tab will appear called Format, go to that tab.
Step 3. Choose Crop
This new border will appear around your image, moving the borders crops the image.
If a mistake is made simply move the border back to its original position and the previously cropped area will be restored. This is because PowerPoint doesn’t actually ‘crop’ the image but rather hides the portion you don’t want seen.
To delete the excess portion of the image, and reduce the overall size of the presentation, crop the image then compress it.
