The PowerPoint 2007 Interface

This tutorial will consist of a quick over view of the locations and features available on the PowerPoint 2007 interface.

Office Button, is located in top left of your PowerPoint 2007 program. Replacing the File Menu button  found in older versions of PowerPoint.  This button contains the basic commands such as creating a new PowerPoint, opening a file, printing saving and more.

Ribbon, This section will contain everything needed for a user to complete the PowerPoint Presentation. These features range from Inserting an image to formatting your text and objects.

Slide Pane, In this area slides are created and modified.

Slide tab, allows you to preview what the presentation will look like through use of thumbnails. Creating of new slides and changing the order of the slides can also be done here.

Notes Pane, is an area which allows you to enter speaker notes to help you remember key points during the presentation.
